Five businesses fined for meter tampering

The fines were issued during a Walkabout by Mangaung Metro acting mayor Lulama Titi, along with Centlec CEO, Nzemeni Mgoqi. According to Centlec’s Lele Mamatu, the fines exclude the cost of electricity used while meters were compromised. The visit forms part of the Letsema Project aimed at addressing power related problems in the area.
