It’s a brand new Premier Soccer League season and the men from Bloemfontein Celtic got their campaign off to a good start.
Celtic played to a 1-1 draw against Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
In what was the new coach Veselin Jelušićs’ first game in charge at Siwelele, the team came from 1-0 down to hold Steve Khompela’s much more fancied Amakhosi.
While Celtic didn’t beat the Glamour Boys in the PSL for the first time in 10 years, they team looked as good as they did before the untimely departure of Clinton Larsen in the 2015/16 season.
