SATOA provides an update on al-Mujaahiedeen

It has been three weeks since 32 mu’tamireen, who were scheduled to travel with al-Mujaahiedeen for Umrah, discovered that their payments on their flights with Emirates Airlines had defaulted. After repeated phone calls to al-Mujaahiedeen’s founder and CEO, Imam Isgaak Cassim, VOC’s calls were not responded to. In the final communication, between VOC News and the operator, we were informed that affected mu’tamireen would be repaid in the first week of January 2018. VOC reporter Thakira Desai spoke to the President of the South African Tour Operators Association (SATOA), Adam Jainodien, who provided an update on the matter.
