Perry So was born in Hong Kong but now lives with his wife in Boston and travels extensively as a guest conductor. He has worked closely with internationally famous conductors such as Esa Pekka Salonen, Gustavo Dudamel and Lorin Maazel. His recording of the Korngold Violin Concerto with Alexander Gilman and the Cape Town Philharmonic has won distinguished international awards.
