Little 8 - year - old Aiden Nothnagel was bitten in the face by a staffie in January this year.
As a result of this traumatic event, Aiden has had to have reconstructive plastic surgery done to close his wounds left by the dog bite.
Hot 91.9FM Christmas Wish received a plea from Aiden’s mom, Desire, to help her son out after what has, understandably, been a terribly tough year for the little man.
According to his mom, Aiden just lives for cricket and is a massive Proteas fan. His favourite player in the Proteas side is opening batsman, Aiden Markram, whom Aiden believes he was named after!
Desire wrote to us asking if there was any way we could arrange a meeting between the two Aidens.
Hot 91.9FM Christmas Wish decided to go one better and fly Aiden, his mom and his sister to Cape Town to go and watch his hero in action for his local Mzansi Super League franchise, Paarl Rocks.
Christmas Wish also arranged a special meet - and - greet for Aiden with his namesake and the entire Paarl Rocks team after the game, a signed shirt and whole host of other memorabilia to ensure this was a day he would never ever forget and treasure forever!
