The hugely popular Suid Ooster Fees opens at the Artscape Theatre Complex on 25 April and runs until 1 May with a host of productions. One of the highlights will undoubtedly be Franz Lehar’s evergreen operetta, The Merry Widow which has one performance only at the Artscape Opera House on 27 April. The production is directed by the veteran opera director Christine Crouse who spent many years at Cape Town Opera and who is now a freelance director.
