Hope for stability in Maluti-A-Phofung

The Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC in the Free State, Thembeni Nxangisa, has hope that there will be stability in the Maluti-A-Phofung Local Municipality after the upcoming by-elections. He told OFM News that a lot of challenges faced by the municipality will be coming to an end after the by-elections on August 28, explaining there will then be an opportunity to elect a mayor, speaker and chief whip, for proper reporting in the provincial government. He said that this will also allow the municipality to employ a municipal manager.
