SA firm developing a jet that can take off vertically like a helicopter

Imagine a business jet that's able to take off vertically like a helicopter, but is able to reach a cruise speed of 796 kph and remain airborne for six-and-a-half hours? It's not something out of a sci-fi movie. It's currently in development by South African aerospace engineering company Pegasus Universal Aerospace, and it's called the Pegasus 1 Vertical Business Jet (VBJI). CEO of Pegasus Universal Aerospace, Dr Reza Mia, chats to East Coast Radio's Di Macpherson about the project.
