Why Massmart withholds dividend as it swings to a loss

Massmart has swung to an annual loss of over a billion rand. This largely due to an impairment related to the group's non-profitable stores in Massdiscounters and Masscash stores which is inclusive of Game and Dion Wired. The division's were hard hit during the period with its trading profit plummeting to a loss of R674 million. Company's CEO, Mitchell Slape joins us on the line for his analysis of the numbers and what it means for the group's growth moving forward.
