The Agricultural sector GDP for the first quarter expanded by 24%, but in the second quarter the sector saw massive job losses being reported. Wandile Sihlobo; Chief Economist of the Agricultural Business Chamber of South Africa joined the Business Hour and shared his thoughts on the impact of Covid-19 on the Agricultural Sector. He also shared why we've seen an increase in Sunflower seeds, Sorghum and Soybeans production since 2019.
