This has led to a mass wave of people exiting formal employment structures in a phenomenon dubbed “the great resignation”. However, with employees changing jobs more frequently and many failing to preserve their retirement savings, some risk not being able to retire comfortably. Saleem Sonday, head of Group Savings and Investments at Allan Gray, joins Kaya Bizz to discuss the role of retirement benefits in attracting and retaining employees and share tips to help employees understand their benefit structure better.
