‘He led them out as far as Bethany, and lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He left them and was taken up into heaven.’
The Lord loves to bless His people.
As He blessed His people, His earthly time ended and He ascended into heaven.
He only returned to heaven after having made sure we knew we were blessed.
You are blessed, and as you remember His ascension, remember, He will return.

Lord, thank You for coming and for living among us. We are so thankful for Your ongoing presence and Your blessing on our lives. We look forward to the day when we will see You face to face.
