Calls For Electoral Reforms Grow

A few months ago, President Ramaphosa signed the Electoral Amendment Bill into law which paves the way for independent candidates to contest national and provincial elections. However, this has been contested by many who have called for electoral reform because of the technicalities in terms on parliament seat allocation for independent candidates.
