Zuma’s MK party could grab half of ANC support in KZN, poll finds
--:--
A shock poll released by the Social Research Foundation (SRF) has revealed that the ANC
could lose close to half of its support in KwaZulu-Natal to the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK)
Party, which is led by former president Jacob Zuma. The poll found that ANC support in the
province had plummeted to 25%, down from 54% in the 2019 general elections. Conversely,
the MK Party, launched in December, is polling at 24% – a clear sign that it is eating into the
ANC's support. Phemelo speaks to Elections Analyst, Wayne Sussman who helps us make
