South African award-winning singer, Nonhle Aretha Mhlongo known as Skye Wanda was bitten by the music bug at an early age. In 2015 She entered Idols SA and reached the Top 16 but had to drop out due to personal reasons. Skye Wanda was invited to the Essence Festival(2016) in New Orleans as an opening act for American Singer, Kelly Price. Skye Wanda has collaborated with some of South Africa's renowned artists such as Dj Tira, Zakes Bantwini, Oskido, Dj Ganyani, Harrsion Crump, QTwins, Drega, Malumz On Decks, Kweyama Brothers, Dj Sithelo, Zakwe, Beast to name a few. Skye Wanda is a founding member of Chesterville Arts foundation, and also participated as Guest Judge on "My Connect" a talent search show which was hosted by Dj Lab from Gagasi FM.
