Kallie Kriel, CEO of Afriforum, SA’s most powerful civic society organisation, shares uncomfortable truths in this interview with BizNews editor Alec Hogg. The former schoolteacher, whose 18-year-old organisation boasts a vast network and over 300 000 contributing members, says the ANC and other supporters of EWC are spinning a false tune. He says the legislation is deeply malevolent. Kriel remains hopeful that US President Donald Trump’s intervention jolts Pretoria into recanting before the full impact of US economic power is unleashed on SA.
