The Proteas Women are in action for the first time this season, playing against Sri Lanka today in their first match of the One-Day International Tri-Series in Colombo.
It’s the second match of the series, after India beat Sri Lanka by nine wickets on Sunday in the opening game.
The last time South Africa played was in the one-off Test against England at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein.
The captain Laura Wolvaardt told OFM Sport that this is an ideal series for them to play in.
