The former captain Aubrey Swanepoel will be greeting the Knights following three seasons with the team.
Swanepoel, who earlier in his career played for the Knights, re-joined the team from the Northern Cape Heat and immediately took over the captaincy.
The all-rounder will leave Bloemfontein to link up with the Mpumalanga Rhinos in White River.
The 35-year-old becomes the latest player to leave and his departure has buried the retirement talks.
Swanepoel told OFM Sport that he is looking forward to the new chapter in his career.
