Vela Khumalo - Reaching COSAFA Cup semi-finals

Bafana Bafana are into the semi-finals of the 2025 COSAFA Cup being played in Bloemfontein.
Yesterday, a determined Mauritius side held South Africa to a goalless draw at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium, thanks to an outstanding defensive performance.
However, over at the Toyota Stadium, Zimbabwe did South Africa a huge favour by beating the Mambas of Mozambique 3–1, allowing the hosts to progress on goal difference.
South Africa will face the best runner-up from the group stage in the semi-finals and that opponent is still to be determined.
Bafana coach Vela Khumalo said it’s time to hit the reset button.
