Today on the show, we’re joined by Debow Taliana, a rising vocal talent from Bloemfontein, Free State. Debow’s musical journey started in high school community choirs, where his vocal prowess quickly became evident. In 2021, after impressing on South African Idols, he began working seriously in the studio with hip-hop and R&B producers.
His big break came in 2023 with a feature alongside DJ Fresh on Mamas Baby, putting him on the map locally. Soon after, a viral video caught the attention of industry heavyweights JazziQ and DJ Maphorisa, leading to studio collaborations and an invite to join New Money Gang Records. This year, Debow is making waves with features alongside top artists and the release of his debut single Emakhaya, celebrating his heritage and roots.
