With it almost being August, Geniene Preston, The Real South African from Vamos Travel Africa and Uncle Zek rounded off July with a successful month of great interviews in our studio with our Ambassador Hour enjoying a conversation with Sergio Carlos Macamo, Commercial Counsellor of the Republic of Mozambique High Commission in South Africa. We shared memories of this beautiful coastal country the home of LM Radio, Pao bread and so much more. Islands, cruising and landscape that makes it a perfect destination for South Africans and international visitors alike. Growing in tourism and with calm seas and natural habitats still in abundance, they welcome exporters, importers and businesses such as agriculture to join them in sustainability and planet saving initiatives. With plans for a highway to join north to south, they will soon be a destination of choice for all Africans.

As well as another segment with Geniene Preston, The Real South African from Vamos Travel Africa and Uncle Zek rounded off July with a successful month of great interviews in our travel hour with none other than Giovanni Simonini, General Manager Africa. TAAG are growing rapidly in Africa and after 86 years in the industry, they are making their way to the top! One destination at a time... We were joined by Isaac Mulindwa, Director of Vamos Travel Africa, Uganda who gave us valuable insight of the challenges of travelling in Africa which TAAG are now looking to change that.
