The MK Party has suspended former national spokesperson and MP Nhlamulo Ndlela over allegations of misconduct, sowing divisions within the party and bringing it into disrepute. The party says Ndlela has been barred from representing MK in any capacity and ordered to return all party property, including laptops, documents and access cards. The suspension reportedly follows claims that he misrepresented the party during the launch of its new Leadership Institute. Former editor of The Star Sifiso Mahlangu has since been appointed as the party’s new national spokesperson. Phemelo speaks to Mahlangu about the leadership shake-up and the latest developments inside the MK Party.
