A Christian Perspective on World Chaos – Trusting Christ, Not Fear

Loading player...
In this episode of Radio Cape Pulpit, guest Anthony Stander speaks with host Anton about how Christians should respond to troubling global events – wars in the Middle East and Ukraine, persecution of Christians in Nigeria, fuel shortages, and economic uncertainty. Anthony argues that believers often misplace blame on world leaders like Putin, Zelensky, Netanyahu, or Trump, when the real enemy is Satan – the god of this world. Quoting Isaiah 14 and Luke 10:19, he reminds listeners that Jesus has given His followers authority over all the power of the enemy. Christians are not to live in fear or worry, but to trust that their lives are in Christ’s hands. He calls on believers to rise up as a strong, stable, and courageous army – holding the fort, sharing hope, and rescuing the lost in these last days. The message is clear: we were chosen for such a time as this, and we must radiate Christ’s love and power to a frightened and broken generation.
