Andile Gaelesiwe, born on September 13, 1973, in Soweto, South Africa, is a prominent figure in the South African entertainment industry. She is a kwaito singer, songwriter, sexual rights campaigner, and television presenter. Gaelesiwe is best known for hosting the SABC1 docu-reality series Khumbul’ekhaya since 2006. She has been active in the music industry since her early twenties and has released several albums and singles with BMG records. Gaelesiwe is also the founder and CEO of the Open Disclosure Foundation (ODF), which supports survivors of sexual violence. Her journey has been marked by her advocacy for sexual rights and her commitment to helping others heal from trauma.
