Conductor Lesedi Sibanda dropped in at the Fine Music Radio studios for a catchup with Otto van der Walt on the Sunday Breakfast show. They talked about Lesedi assisting Maestro Bernhard Gueller at the moment and how learning from masters like Maestro Gueller is such a privilege. The University of Pretoria Symphony Orchestra has been invited to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to perfrom there and a special fundraiser campaign is currently running to fund this trip. The aim of the campaign? Donate to the orchestra to shave principal conductor Schalk van der Merwe's beard! Visit the orchestra's social pages to donate to this worthy cause!
