One of our agriculture correspondents, Deon Blume, spoke to Agri SA’s Ernest Pringle about a recent workshop convened by Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform, Gugile Nkwinti. In this extract from the interview, Pringle outlines new plans around land ceilings. He says Nkwinti is proposing that land ceilings be determined at district level rather than operation for national brackets. Pringle says this could actually be even worse:
