JSE investigates introducing milk futures contract

OFM News' agri editor Sabrina Dean speaks to Director of Commodities at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Chris Sturgess, about discussions underway around the possible introduction of a milk futures contract. He says they have already engaged with numerous dairy industry roleplayers and now need to get buy-in from milk buyers to provide pricing data to enable them to determine a reference price. He also provides some feedback on the beef futures contract.
