Committee conducts oversight visits to OBP and ARC

OFM News’ agri editor Sabrina Dean speaks to the chairperson of Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Rosina Semenya. The committee was in Pretoria on Friday to conduct oversight visits to Onderstepoort Biological Products, as well as the Agricultural Research Council’s Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute. She says they were very happy to see there is no issue with vaccine manufacturing at the moment. She says although there have been distribution challenges, they believe measures put in place by OBP will resolve these:
