FAW: Control guidelines released

OFM News’ agri editor Sabrina Dean speaks to Dr Gerhard Verdoorn about concerns over a fall army worm, or FAW, outbreak within South Africa’s borders. In this first part of the interview he outlines things for which farmers should be on the lookout. He also speaks about a list of chemical control guidelines the task team, of which he is part, compiled. He says farmers need to act at the first sign of a worm:
