Aquaculture training centre handed over to SA

The China-South Africa Aquaculture Technology Demostration Centre (ATDC) at Gariep Dam is going to be handed over to Minister Senzeni Zokwana from the department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on Friday. Bomikazi Molapo, spokesperson of the department, says this centre that has been operated in partnership between China and South Africa is fully functional. Now the full control of the centre will be given to the South African government. This centre is playing a crucial role in upskilling people aquaculture and especially fisheries.
