Australian Trish Jenkins was your typical suburban wife and mother up until she lost 6 figures to theft by her then boss, a registered fund manager in 2008. Then liquidators dissolved their life savings and the 6 properties they had accumulated, including their family home. Trish had unwittingly worked for a con artist and was then sentenced to spend over two years in prison, which was suspended after eight months.
