The Toyota Cheetahs are on the brink of creating history by secure they berth of their Guinness Pro14 in their debut season in the competition.

Playing in the European tournament has meant a lot of changes, and one of these it the way the team contracts players. Traditionally a team contracts a player for two years, however, the Cheetahs have extended that to three years.

The Cheetahs are experiencing a mass exodus of players, and OFM’s Sport Editor, Morgan Piek, caught up with the Free State Rugby MD, Harold Verster, to talk about the contracting.
