The former Kaizer Chiefs coach and Bafana Bafana captain, Steve Komphela, has been appointed as the new Bloemfontein Celtic head coach.
Komphela stepped as the Amakhosi tactician following their defeat to Free State Stars in the Nedbank Cup semi-final in Durban.
Celtic and Veselin Jelušić recently parted ways due to the clubs failure to pay his salary for some time.
Jelušić has already been linked with other PSL clubs, and it is believed that Chiefs could be leading the race to secure his signature.
Komphela started training with Celtic at Siwelele Park this afternoon already.
