The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the cancellation of events around the world but many artists are making use of the digital space to continue sharing their crafts. The question though is: What are the implications of these digital performances where intellectual property is concerned? In recognition of World Intellectual Property Day and International Jazz Day, Michael Motsoeneng Bill was joined by jazz singer, pianist and SAMRO Foundation Deputy Chairperson Nomfundo Xaluva and intellectual property expert Dr. Chijioke Okorie.
