Phakamile Hlubi Majola- Numsa Spokesperson talks On Friday the court ruled that retrenchment notices issued to workers at SAA by business rescue practitioners are unlawful and must be withdrawn. This means that SAA and its BRP’s have to go back to the drawing board about the way forward for cutting costs at the cash strapped airline. Unions say they will wait to see the way forward, Numsa in particular says its main focus is to see how quickly government can provide details of the new look airline as per the social compact with the Department of Public enterprises.
