Covid-19 has made that crisis much worse – destroying economic value, diverting essential investment funds and crushing further the spirit of our country’s poor. In this episode we ask: Will Corona and its consequences kill off some jobs for good? Which sectors of our economy offer the best prospects for renewal and sustainable work? And is this just a matter of economics or do we need a change in attitude and values as well? John Perlman was joined by Professor Miriam Altman who is a professor at the University of Johannesburg School of Economics and Stafford Masie who is the General Manager for Africa of the company WeWork.
