After DWAF, Sipho worked at Mhlathuze Water as GM: Operations where he was responsible for Municipal Water Supply and Environmental Management. Before Rand Water, he worked as a Director: Water and Sanitation at the City of Cape Town where he was accountable for Bulk Water and Sanitation Services, Strategic Asset Management, Water and Sanitation Reticulation, Scientific Services, Water Demand Management and Water conservation, Waste Water Treatment, Support Services and Finance.
