These are some of the disturbing questions that we often hear when discussing rape. What are the real reasons behind this crime? What causes a person to hurt another human so ruthlessly? Last week’s episode of The Other Side of The Story. #ALetterToMyRapist gave many victims of sexual abuse a platform to share their last words to their rapist.
Letters that left us lost for words but brought more strength and empowerment to victims of sexual abuse. A big thank you to psychologist Dr Nosi (@NozieNyawose) for dissecting the mind of the perpetrator to prevent more victims while also taking us through the healing process. Turning victims into survivors.
