"My daughter wants to know who her real father is"

Every Wednesday afternoon, Stacey and JSbu share the stories from KZN that they need solutions to, This week the team received a voice note from a woman in KZN.This is her story: My baby's father left me while I was pregnant with my child. He has only asked once about her wellbeing and has never helped out with child support. Now, every time my daughter sees a man, she asks if he's her dad or not. I have purposefully tried to protect my daughter from this conversation, but she is older now. How do I have this conversation with her without breaking her heart? A part of me just wants to lie and say her father passed away. Please can I remain anonymous.
