We have to say that this is one of our favourite episodes of Trail Talk SA. Our two guests this week were phenomenal and shared some great insights into what they do. On Episode 5 of Trail Talk SA:Brad spoke with Landie Greyling who recently finished in the top 10 at the Long Distance Trail World Championships. They spoke about Landie’s career as an accountant, her love for trail running, where here favourite trails are in the Western Cape, what her long term ambitions are as well as some of the charity work she does, and the race that she organises on her parents’ farm near Cullinan, called the Diamond Dash Trail Run. If you want to be in touch with Landie she is on Twitter here, Facebook here or pop onto her website here.Dale Turrell chatted to Brad about barefoot running on the trails, and where his passion for minimalist trail running came from. If you have ever considered going minimal, Dale talks us through the process as well as what you can do to prevent injuries. You can follow Dale on Twitter here.As mentioned in the show, if you are thinking about possibly running Comrades, check out Run Talk SA‘s FREE ‘Is Comrades for me’ Webinar. If you would like to subscribe to our weekly podcast on iTunes here or on RSS feed by clicking here.
